SallieMae Smart Option Student Loan Program is a comprehensive private, or alternative, student loan. This student loan helps bridge the gap between a student’s financial aid package and the actual cost of college.
Key Features:
- Student can borrow up to the full cost of their education, less orther aid received
- Minimum loan amount $1,000
- Must attend an eligible community college, four or five year college or university; or an eligible graduate program at least half time and be working toward a degree
- Students may apply with a creditworthy cosigner to help the student qualify and/or receive a lower interest rate
- A full turnkey program. Through your marketing efforts your bank receives a fee for each closed loan
